EPL

All Up multi Arsenal x Everton

ARSENAL (h) v Middlesborough

*Arsenal have not lost since the opening day of the season. Coming off a 6-0 drubbing of Ludogorets in the Champions League midweek. Have never lost to Boro at the Emirates (6W2D). Boro have only the sole victory this season & that was against bottom club Sunderland. Last week were they defeated 1-0 at home against Watford. Hardly form that will send shivers down the spines of the core Gunners fans. Have definitely found the transition back up into the EPL a hard one in this early part of the season. Another motivating factory for Arsenal is this game will be played on Arsene Wenger’s 67th Birthday. Should win easily.

EVERTON (a) v Burnley

*Everton unbeaten in their last 11 games against newly promoted teams (4W7D). Romelu Lukaku has been back to his brilliant best in recent weeks. The Belgian International has scored 6 goals in his last 5 games. Burnley have scored a meagre 9 goals in their last 20 Premier League games. The Toffees are backing up after a very good 1-1 Draw away to Man City last week. Whilst City had the better of the play, not many teams will come away with points at Etihad Stadium when only having 27% possession of the ball. The Clarets were trounced 3-1 away to Southampton last week, and unfortunately it looks like The Toffees will heap more misery on them this week. Everton with too much class across the park for Burnley & should secure all 3pts in this one.

Tips

Melbourne City

Sydney FC

Wanderers

Melbourne City vs Perth Glory

Stats

The home team has won 4 of the previous 5 clashes

The total match goals have finished above 2.5 in 4 of the last 5 match ups

Scores have been drawn at half time in 7 of the last 10 meetings

Only once in the last 8 meetings have the Glory kept a clean sheet

City have scored the opening goal in 3 of the last 4 meetings

Fornaroli has been City’s 1st goal scorer in the last 2 clashes with the Glory

Preview Notes and Bet

Both teams last start winners. None more impressive than City last week. The way they dismantled their fierce derby rivals Melbourne Victory would’ve sent shudders thru all teams in the A League. Glory’s 1st Away game of the season whilst City have the luxury of staying in Melbourne for another week. City have never been beaten by Glory in Melbourne (5W 2D) & I’m expecting the potency of City’s attacking third to guide them to another victory and remain undefeated after 3 rounds.
